Birketts is one of the fastest growing full service law firms in the UK, with a heritage spanning over 160 years.
We are proud of our established history and have used that as the catalyst for our continued growth.
Over the last five years Birketts has seen its colleague numbers increase. In 2025 we have over 1,000 employees, including 130 partners, 43% of which are female, and over 700 legal professionals.
Making progress towards our ambitious growth plans, we have added to our offices in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich and Norwich, expanding into London and the south of England with additional offices opening in central London (2021), Sevenoaks (2023) and Bristol (autumn 2024).

“At Birketts one of our key values is to be enterprising. We’re always thinking about what’s next. Our aim is to deliver exceptional legal services that can take our clients and their business to the next level. Achieving this success begins and ends with the people who work here.”
