Maira is a Trainee Solicitor. She is currently in her second seat with the Real Estate Investment Team.
She started her Training Contract in September 2024 and completed her first seat in the Real Estate Finance Team based in Norwich. Maira’s role within the team involved managing an array of transactional matters in respect of secured lending where she represented both individual and company borrowers. Such transactions included the refinance or purchase of commercial, semi-commercial or Buy to Let properties.
Prior to joining Birketts, Maira graduated from the University of East Anglia with a degree in Law. During her studies, Maira chose to expand her skillset within the hospitality sector. This experience gave her a strong background in customer service as well as other transferable skills that translate well into the legal world.
Maira is also studying for the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law, with the aim of qualifying as a solicitor in 2026.
