Lucy Wolfenden

Lucy is a Solicitor in our Employment Team based in Norwich.

Lucy advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters for employers and employees. Lucy supports the team’s tribunal work and more generalist advisory work, covering employment contracts, policies and procedures, settlement agreements, disciplinary and grievance issues, and redundancy.

Prior Lucy’s qualification in 2025, Lucy joined the firm in July 2022 as a Paralegal in our Real Estate Finance Team, part of the wider Commercial Real Estate Team based in our Norwich office. She since then began her training contract with the firm in 2023, where she sat with the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team, followed by a seat in the Corporate Team in our Ipswich office, before deciding to specialise in Employment law.

Experience & education

Prior to joining Birketts, Lucy studied a degree in LLB Law at The University of East Anglia, graduating in 2021 with a First Class Degree with Honours and obtained a Distinction in the integrated maters Legal Practice Course from The University of Law in 2022.
