Julian joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in 2023.
He is in his fourth seat in the Banking and Finance Team in London, where he advises on a range of banking and finance transactions with a particular focus on acquisition finance, leveraged finance, real estate finance and general corporate lending.
During his training contract, Julian has also undertaken seats in our Agriculture, Commercial and Technology and (Re)Insurance and International teams, based in Cambridge and London.
Prior to joining Birketts, Julian advised legal and support professionals at a magic circle law firm as a product specialist to develop and implement document automation solutions across the law firm’s international offices.
Julian graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2019 and went on to complete the GDL in 2020 after which he joined a legal tech start-up before completing the LLM SQE in 2023 at the University of Law.
