
Hanna is a Solicitor in the Property Disputes Team at Birketts based in Norwich, Norfolk.
Hanna has a growing interest in property matters affecting private clients, including those in the agricultural or ecclesiastical sectors. Since joining the team, Hanna has assisted with issues relating to agricultural tenancies, rights of way, boundary disputes, trespass, possession proceedings, adverse possession and misrepresentation. She has also had exposure to issues affecting corporate and commercial clients vis-à-vis security of tenure; renewals; break notices; dilapidations etc.
Experience and education
As part of her route to qualification, Hanna completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) at BPP Waterloo. She passed with a distinction. Hanna also completed a Masters in Law at the University of Law (based at the UEA campus). She received a distinction, which included passing both sets of Solicitor Qualification Exams (SQE1&2). As part of her training contract at Birketts LLP, Hanna also worked in the Family Team and Residential Development/Social Housing Team, and prior to that, she worked as a Paralegal on the Diesel Emissions Case at Leigh Day.
In relation to academic studies, Hanna completed a postgraduate MA degree in Politics and Contemporary History at King’s College London. She passed with a distinction. Hanna also previously studied History at Durham University, where she received an upper second-class BA (Hons) degree, with a year studying abroad at Uppsala University in Sweden.
