George joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2023 and is based in our Sevenoaks office.
George is currently in the fourth and final seat of his training contract, in the Employment Team. Previously, George has sat with Commercial Real Estate, Corporate and Employment, and the Agriculture and Estates teams. Prior to joining Birketts, George also has a background in a broad range of private client matters from his time as a paralegal in a high street firm.
George is a self-proclaimed petrolhead with a passion for machines and motorsport. Whilst at university, he raced in the British Universities Karting Championship, after which he spent time volunteering as a mechanic with a well-known motorsport business. George has linked his interest in machines to his involvement in the firm’s Transport and Logistics sector group and aspires to build an expertise in the motorsport industry during his career.
George graduated from King’s College London with an LLB (Hons) in 2021, and from the University of Law in 2023 with an MSc in Law, Business and Management, achieving a Distinction.
