Birketts’ Corporate Team has recently advised SDI Group on the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Collins Walker Ltd (Collins Walker) for £1.9m.
SDI Group is an acquisitive group, focused on companies that design and manufacture specialist lab equipment, industrial and scientific sensors and industrial and scientific products. Collins Walker Ltd is an electric boiler design and manufacturer, offering bespoke steam and hot water systems for industrial application.
The acquisition of Collins Walker provides SDI with “strategic entry into the highly regulatory-driven electric boiler sector, an expanding market boosted by net zero regulations”.
The Birketts team was led by Corinne Spencer (Senior Associate, Corporate) and supported by Macauley Alsford-White (Associate, Corporate) and Julia Harlock (Senior Associate, Commercial Real Estate).
