Top 100 law firm Birketts has advised Cambridgeshire County Council on its acquisition of Evolution Business Park in Cambridge.
This £28m deal is the latest move in the Council’s ongoing strategy to broaden its investment portfolio in order to generate the revenue that will enhance the much needed front line services operating for the people of Cambridgeshire. This latest property investment acquisition is set to give the Council a good rate of return in line with its investment objectives.
The deal was led by Dwight Patten (Legal Director, Commercial Property) with support from Charmaine Rolfe, Ryan Bigland, Cara Keen and Cameron Barlow (Commercial Property), Tim Hall and Sophie Thornley (Construction), Ros Nuttall (Planning) and Karl Pocock and Ben Clarke (Tax).
