UK Top 50 law firm Birketts recently advised Buffaload Group on the acquisition of a majority stake in Drury Holdings Limited, which operates the Temples Transport Group.
The acquisition marks a significant partnership with another logistics company and adds to Buffaload Group’s growing portfolio within the logistics and transport sector.
This acquisition follows Marcus Drury’s successful leadership at Temples, which he acquired in December 2019. Under Marcus Drury, Temples Transport Group has thrived, culminating in a relocation to a larger site, allowing for expansion and new business opportunities which complement Buffaload Group. This new joint venture supports the ambitions of Temples Transport Group’s sustainability strategy, focusing on reducing its CO2e emission and assisting its customers minimising their environmental footprint.
The Birketts team was led by Matt Stratton (Partner, Corporate) and Ed Savory (Partner, Corporate), supported by Phillip Hopkins (Associate, Corporate) and Lorraine Porter (Paralegal, Corporate).
