Maisie is a Solicitor in the Banking and Finance Team at Birketts.
She advises on a range of banking and finance transactions with a particular focus on acquisition finance, leveraged finance, real estate finance and general corporate lending.
Maisie works with a diverse range of clients across different industry sectors, including banks, financial institutions (including alternative lenders), private equity-backed businesses, registered companies, and individuals.
As a member of the Banking and Green Finance Team, which forms part of Birketts’ wider Natural Capital Sector Team, Maisie supports borrowers and lenders in meeting the growing demand for environmentally conscious financing options, helping them navigate the challenges of achieving tangible and measurable green credentials.

Advised Urban Gym Group on the debt financing for its acquisition of Sparring Partners Holdings, owners of the ‘Gymbox’ brand.
Advised English subsidiaries on their accession to a £75m syndicated term and revolving facilities agreement.
Assisted pan-European real estate investment fund with asset substitutions into the security net of its £40m secured term loan facility.
Advised real estate investment group on a £26m term loan facility to refinance existing debt and acquire new investment properties, followed by an extension of an RCF facility and security restructure to facilitate further development projects.
